What Is SMC?
Smart Money Concepts (SMC) is a price-action trading framework that interprets chart movement through the lens of how large institutional participants are believed to enter and exit positions, without relying on traditional indicators like moving averages or oscillators. It’s a modern systemization of older price-action and order-flow ideas, popularized in recent years across retail trading education.
