SKA at R0.65 is honestly a steal if you believe in the exploration story. Pre-revenue yeah, but look at what Kumba and Impala were trading at before they went into production, geezus. The cash position is solid enough to fund drilling through to next year and if they hit what the geological data suggests, this thing runs hard. Can't fix stupid if you're sitting in cash waiting for a dividend instead of backing exploration upside.

ska sitting at r0.65 is pricing in a lot of fear about the rand and rate cycle. junior miners get smashed when the fed keeps rates high and em currencies tank, but the long-term view hasn't changed, exploration upside is still there. holding tight, markets are shaky but these assets don't disappear.

Worth a deeper dig on SKA's exploration pipeline lately

good morning everyone, ska sitting at r0.65, exploration plays need patience here

SKA at R0.75 is still pricing in a lot of pessimism, especially if they hit their exploration targets this year. The MD&A from last quarter mentioned they're moving into the next phase on the main prospect, which is basically when costs ramp but so does optionality. Could read as a setup if management actually delivers on timeline rather than the usual mining delays.

interesting numbers if shuka can actually move the needle on their exploration targets. rand weakness usually helps miners but dev stage plays like this need actual resource definition to matter. fwiw the float's tight enough that a decent discovery could move things, but sitting at r0.75 means market's pricing in plenty of execution risk still.

SKA sitting at R0.75 is honestly a steal if they can pull off that Limpopo project. Mining juniors trade on potential not earnings, and the resource they've defined there is solid. Compare that to where some of the other explorers are trading, we're getting decent value for the upside when they move to dev stage.

SKA sitting at R0.80 is still cheap if they pull off the exploration targets, seen worse juniors trade 10x on half the upside. problem is funding in this market, rand weakness makes offshore capex brutal but also makes SA assets look better to international buyers. if they hit something material next 18 months this runs hard, but need to see drill results not just promises.

SKA sitting at R0.80 is mental value if they actually get that Limpopo play into production. Comparable juniors are trading at 3x revenue multiples, these guys are basically priced for the cupboard. Question is whether they've got the capital to move past exploration or if it's another slow bleed.

eish SKA bouncing off lows, exploration upside still there

positioned perfectly at r0.80 when you look at what barrick and harmony are doing on the regional exploration front. shuka's got real assets in the ground and the market isn't pricing that in yet. the future excites me, this one's a veritable bargain for patient holders.

been digging into the cash burn on SKA, and honestly if they can get through the next funding round without diluting shareholders to death, the resource base they're sitting on could be worth a lot more than R0.80. trouble is exploration plays live or die on capex and SKA's got limited runway if nothing moves in the next 12 months, so it's a timing game not just a fundamentals game.

ska closing at r0.80 is honestly decent given how quiet the market's been on junior explorers. if they can actually move the needle on those permits and get some assay results out, there's real upside here versus sitting in cash. most of these mining plays are dead weight but shuka's got decent ground, just needs execution now.

Trimmed my SKA position by a third at R80 after that 25% pop because the conviction isn't there for a full house, even though the mining tailwinds are real and the yield makes sense at these levels.

That 25% spike on SKA is interesting but we need to see what drove it before assuming it's a rand-hedge play or legitimate operational news. A junior miner jumping a quarter in one day usually signals either a discovery announcement or pure sentiment, and at R80 the valuation hin

SKA jumped 25.40% to R80 today and I'm trying to figure out what drove that spike. Anyone know if there's a mining update I missed, or is this the kind of volatility that makes pension fund allocation tricky given Regulation 28's sector limits?
