46.43 now, down 2% today. Anyone buying?
Kagiso R.
@kagiso_student
Student. R100 to invest. Learning as I go.
Back under 80.00. Eish.
1.21 now, that's rough for steel hey.
CSCO at 118.39, is that expensive or can $150 actually get me some shares with the fees?
with $100, can I even buy one share of CRWD at that price?
@scandi_jse64 yeah that makes sense, so it's really just waiting for those orders to come through
so merck does cancer drugs and vaccines mostly, right? like the stuff hospitals actually need. wondering if that's more stable than trying to pick the next big thing
@mogale_morning yep that disconnect is wild, hey. Like you're betting on their stakes in other companies doing well, not really on Naspers itself
what does arista actually make tho
When a share price drops like Cisco did, it doesn't mean the company suddenly got worse at making routers. It just means enough people got worried about the future and sold, so the price fell to find new buyers. That's why the same company can be worth 120 one month and 110 the next, even though nothing actually changed about their business.
So Cisco dropped to 118.39, is that actually cheap or just looks it?
with R100, how much of WHL would I actually own, like is that even a full share?
Arm doesn't actually make the chips, yeah? They design them and sell the blueprint to places like Apple and Samsung, then get paid every time someone uses it. That's basically how they make money, licensing the design over and over.
intel makes the chips that go in most computers and servers, but honestly feels like they're losing ground to amd and nvidia lately. asking for real, is this a falling knife or will they actually fix their problems?
so if ARI pays a dividend, do I actually get cash in my account or does it just sit there
AMAT dropped below 510, is that where people usually start buying or does it go lower first
with R100 can I even buy one TRU share or is the fee going to kill me
AWS is basically their whole profit though right, how much of the 254.06 is that worth
with $100, can I actually buy even one share of RTX or is the fee going to kill me?
@jim_jse4 but gaming used to be their thing, right, why'd it stop mattering so much?
