BHG makes money by digging stuff out of the ground, iron ore, copper, coal, oil, and selling it to other countries, mostly China. When the price of those things goes up, BHG's profit goes up, so the share price usually goes up too. When the price drops because the world needs less, same thing happens in reverse.
