Closed at R0.30 again, which is painful but the copper story hasn't changed. Still got those zinc assets in the pipeline and exploration work ongoing in southern africa, so the downside feels limited from here if you're patient. Risk reward is very compelling at these levels, catalysts moving forward should matter once sentiment shifts.

gobbling them up at these levels, copper and zinc are going to have their day and orion's got real assets in the ground, not just a shell like half these explorers. r0.30 is a gift if you believe in the cycle turning, im not selling at these prices.
orn sitting at r0.30 and thats basically penny stock territory for an explorer. problem is theyre burning cash on exploration with no major resource defined yet, comparing to guys like pan african who at least had orebody momentum. unless they hit something real soon funding round gonna be brutal.
Interesting numbers coming through on the copper side, fwiw the zinc upside in the Prieska project is what's been holding this together while spot prices were soft. R0.28 feels like it's pricing in a lot of doubt about permitting timelines. My reading of this is the real catalyst sits with DMRE sign-off, not the metal prices themselves, could be wrong but exploration stage plays like ORN need to show they can actually build the thing.
been reading the latest sens filings on orion, copper plays looking interesting again
Been reading the latest exploration updates on ORN. Interesting zinc targets they're chasing.
been reading the latest sens filings, copper upside still there if they can drill it out
Copper's still got legs and ORN's got decent ground position down south. At R0.28 you're paying nothing for the exploration upside, especially if they hit on any of the main targets. Been nibbling under R0.30 for a while now, good day to top up if you believe in the cycle.
Do you think they ever move off exploration phase. Sitting at R0.28 and still burning cash on drilling programs, where's the revenue catalyst. Not sure about this one unless they hit something big soon.
Copper and zinc plays are where the real value sits right now, and ORN's got decent ground in the right jurisdictions. Close at R0.28 leaves plenty of room if they hit their exploration targets over the next 12 months. Risk/reward is very compelling at these levels, patience looks like a real good idea here.
ORN at R0.28 is pricing in a lot of pessimism on the base metals cycle. Copper and zinc plays globally are getting hammered on recession fears but the long-term view hasn't changed, inflation still elevated and supply deficits real. If they can keep drilling and hit something material before capex blows out it's a different story.
ORN jumping 7.69% on what looks like thin volume, but the fundamentals haven't shifted enough to justify this bounce from R0.26. The zinc and copper story is there long-term, ja, but we're still waiting on actual production metrics and cash flow before getting excited about sub-R
ORN sitting at R0.29 is lekker value if they can actually pull off the Prieska project. Copper prices aren't going anywhere, and their zinc upside is solid. Most juniors trading at a bigger discount to NAV, so at these levels you're not paying much for the exploration upside hey.
orn sitting at r0.29 is basically free money if they get the zinc project off the ground. comparable explorers trading 3x this with way less resource definition, so either market doesn't know what they're sitting on or there's execution risk nobody wants to touch
ORN sitting at R0.29 is decent value if you believe in the copper story. Zim project has real legs and unlike a lot of explorers they've actually got funding sorted. Long hold play but the upside is there when base metals eventually wake up.
do you think..., when does the money actually start flowing from the projects? r0.29 is fine but exploration companies need catalysts, ngl. where are we on permitting and capex timelines for the main assets?
orn sitting at r0.28, exploration play with no revenue yet. copper zinc story is solid but dependent on capital raises and drill results. management needs to deliver on the phalaborwa project or this stays range bound.
ORN sitting at R0.28 is absolute madness for a company with Prieska about to move into dev phase. Rio Tinto was exploring for years before they became what they are, can't fix stupid if you can't see the upside here on base metals with global supply crunch coming.
