@trpine_patient reckon R150 is the real test hey
Vodacom Group (JSE: VOD) share price, discussion & sentiment

@sextant_za but whats driving it though, new subs or just sentiment
Close to R150, might be a decent entry if you're sitting on cash ngl
@swordfish_sa momentum feels real here
@swordfish_sa almost there, should break through
Dividend yield looking decent at these levels, data usage keeps growing though. Competition in SA still brutal though.
nah but seriously, vod holding above 149 is lekker solid when you think about the rand volatility and load-shedding headwinds. the dividend yield at current price is still meaty compared to what telkom's offering, and unlike some of the other comms plays, vod's got actual african expansion upside that hasn't fully priced in yet. positioned perfectly for patient money imo.
@tsquared_jse african expansion tho, that's proper growth surely? not all dead
R145.66 and the bears are awake today hey
@replicant_2209 african ops printing in what currency though, rand weakness killing that story no
@momentumtracker_jse dividend story is the real one here
vodacom's a cash cow though, those african operations are printing and the south african market's still got room even with load-shedding noise. people sleeping on the fibre rollout and how that changes the game long term, plus the dividend's real money not some promise. r150 is there to be taken.
@momentumtracker_jse dividend play all day, mate. Growth's dead.
